Biography
Colin Nettelbeck did his undergraduate studies at the University of Adelaide and his doctorate at the Sorbonne. He has previously taught at the University of California, Berkeley and at Monash University.Professor Nettelbeck was A R Chisholm Professor of French at the University from 1994 to 2005.

Research field
Colin Nettelbeck has written extensively on 20th century French literature, cinema and cultural history. He has a particular interest in the period surrounding the Second World War. He has supervised theses at Honours, Masters and Doctoral levels in all of the above areas.Selected Publications
